Job summary

Advanced Search Group is seeking an experienced Process Safety Expert to support the Head of Safety and Loss Prevention Senior Engineer in implementing the Process Safety Management System across projects and operations. The role involves coordinating risk studies, PHA activities, and adherence to QAFCO Health, Quality, Safety and Environment procedures.

The ideal candidate has a chemical engineering background, NEBOSH or similar certifications, and at least 8 years of Process Safety experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.
• NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety or related certifications are desirable.
• 8+ years in Process Safety within Fertilizer, Petrochemicals or Oil & Gas industries.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Knowledgeable about process safety standards and practices.
• Good English communication and technical report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with occupational health, safety, environment, and quality systems.
• Assist in developing documents and monitoring Process Safety Management activities.
• Lead or participate in process safety risk studies and hazard analyses (PHA, HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, FMEA).
• Coordinate process safety activities across operations and projects.
• Develop leading KPIs and reports to track PSM progress.
• Investigate incidents and contribute to root cause analysis and action plans.
