Job summary

QatarEnergy is seeking a Senior Process Safety Lead to deploy and oversee asset-based loss prevention and risk engineering objectives across our assets in Qatar, including brownfield projects and major capital interfaces. You will lead hazard identifications, risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical or safety).
• 8 years of oil and gas experience in process safety, loss prevention and risk management.
• Experience in leading hazard identification and risk assessment studies.

Responsibilities

• Execute deployment and implementation of process safety loss prevention objectives across assets.
• Review engineering documentation and interface documents for compliance with standards.
• Facilitate HAZID and risk assessment studies and prepare related reports.
• Coordinate safety case and barrier management efforts for effective safety barriers.
