Tanqeeb is seeking a highly creative Head Chef for a UHNW family in Qatar to oversee private culinary operations at the family residence and at exclusive events. The role favors a Mediterranean cuisine specialist with luxury hotel or fine dining background, focusing on elevated healthy cuisine, menu innovation, and discreet VIP service.

The candidate will lead a small team, develop rotational menus, ensure HACCP compliance, source quality ingredients, and manage costs and logistics for domestic

Qualifications

• 3 Year Hospitality Management or equivalent culinary university degree.
• Proven head chef experience with healthy food background.
• Mediterranean cuisine specialist; Middle East experience beneficial.
• Up to date with culinary trends & optimized kitchen processes.
• Excellent English communications skills both written & verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of chefs including pastry.
• Develop rotational menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks & events.
• Balance meals with nutritional macro breakdown.
• Refine dishes based on feedback while maintaining HACCP standards.
• Source local ingredients, pursue organic/high-quality items, minimize waste.
• Oversee ingredient orders and review produce quality and deliveries.
• Accompany the family on local and international travels as required.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a Mediterranean cuisine specialist, a culinary professional from a luxury hotel, fine dining, or high‑end private household background who is passionate about elevated healthy cuisine, menu innovation, & discreet VIP service.

About:

• Leading a small team of highly skilled chefs including pastry
• Development of rotational menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks & occasional events
• Balance meals in terms of their nutrition, also providing a macro breakdown for them
• Accommodate changes & refinement of dishes in accordance with feedback
• Maintain HACCP standards & guidelines, ensuring the kitchen adheres to safety & health regulations.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of local ingredient availability, sourcing organic & high quality items wherever & whenever possible.
• Conscientiously use those resources, aiming for minimum wastage.
• Perform ingredient orders, check & review produce quality & the integrity of deliveries.
• Accompany the family in their local & international travels when required.

Requirements:

• 3 Year Hospitality Management or equivalent culinary university degree
• Proven experience as Head Chef with a strong background in providing healthy food
• Mediterranean cuisine specialist with experience in the Middle East beneficial
• Up to date with culinary trends & optimised kitchen processes
• Excellent English communications skills both written & verbal

Salary Package: QAR 32800 + meals + car + medical cover + visa + flights
