Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a hotel engineering technician for Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel By Tivoli in Doha. You will perform preventive maintenance tasks as outlined in hotel plans and keep all work areas and tools clean and ready for the next shift.

You will participate in energy-conservation programs and propose cost-saving ideas where applicable. Requirements include technical/vocational institute training and at least one year of operating experience in hotel engineering.

Qualifications

• Must have the appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute.
• One year operating experience in a hotel engineering department.
• Good civil or plumbing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete activities on the preventive maintenance schedule as specified in hotel plans.
• Clean all work areas after finishing tasks and look after all tools supplied by the Hotel in a professional manner.
• Maintain and deposit tools after finishing the shift.
• Actively participate in the energy conservation programs of the Hotel and suggest cost saving ideas as and when possible, not limited to the Engineering Department.
