Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a hotel maintenance professional for Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara. The role focuses on executing preventive maintenance as per hotel plans, maintaining work areas and tools, and supporting energy conservation initiatives within the Engineering Department.

Qualified candidates will have documented technical/vocational training, at least one year in hotel engineering, and solid civil or masonry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have documented training from a technical/vocational institute.
• One year operating experience in a hotel engineering department.
• Good civil or masonry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete activities on the preventive maintenance schedule as specified in hotel plans.
• Clean all work areas after finishing the tasks properly.
• Look after all the tools supplied by the Hotel in a professional manner, and correctly maintain and deposit them after finishing the shift.
• Actively participate in energy conservation programs of the Hotel and suggest cost saving ideas as and when possible, not limited to the Engineering Department.
