Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Qatar seeks an experienced Planning Engineer to develop, update, and maintain schedules for large-scale infrastructure and desalination projects. You will manage baselines, look-ahead plans, and resource-loaded schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

The role requires strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, along with KPI reporting, EVM, and schedule risk analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Eng
Primavera P6 certification preferred
PMP certification is an advantage

Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
Prepare detailed baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and resource-loaded schedules.
Monitor project progress across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
Analyze schedule variances and identify potential risks to project delivery.
Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to collect and validate project progress data.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI reports.
Review contractor and subcontractor schedules and assess schedule impacts.
Support delay analysis, claims preparation, and change management processes.
Track project milestones and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Participate in project review meetings and provide planning recommendations to optimize project performance.
