Job summary

Ably Resources in Qatar is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead delivery across power generation and desalination projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, support design through commissioning and handover, and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 12+ years of experience, and a proven track record delivering IWPP or similar energy facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
Minimum 12 years’ industry experience.
Proven experience delivering IWPP, power generation and/or desalination projects.
Strong understanding of engineering, construction and project delivery processes.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and contractors.
Excellent communication, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines.
Support projects through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
Monitor project schedules, technical deliverables and contractor performance.
Ensure engineering activities meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
Identify and resolve technical and project delivery issues.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
Provide progress updates and technical input to senior project management.
