Job summary

Rise Enterprise in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced Chef de Partie to lead the pastry section and deliver pastry and bakery items to a consistently high standard.

You will manage the section’s daily workflow, supervise and train junior pastry staff, plan stock and portioning to control costs, and work closely with the Sous Chef Pastry to ensure smooth operation.

This role suits a confident baker ready to own the section from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in pastry preferred.
• 4–5 years pastry/bakery experience, including Demi Chef de Partie level or similar.
• Strong leadership and baking skills; able to work independently under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the pastry section from prep to service, every shift.
• Prepare, bake, and present high-quality pastry and bakery items.
• Supervise, train, and schedule pastry staff.
• Plan stock, ordering, and portioning to control costs and waste.
• Develop new pastry items with the pastry team.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
• Support Sous Chef Pastry and liaise across sections.
