Job Description

The Order book support Operator is responsible forthe day-to-day support of Spares and Repair order processing to ensure allinventory/asset demands including AOG, critical spares generation, and receiptof direct deliveries to achieve contractual requirements within timescales andbudget sets.Additionally, the role isresponsible for supporting the forecasting and optimisation of inventory toensure the supply chain maintains appropriate levels of repairable andconsumable assets to meet customer requirements.

Core Activity:

• Supportwill be required for the Spares & Repairs coordinator’s ensuring thatorders are placed in a timely matter, and all order book activities andtransactions are carried out timely and effectively.
• Supportthe PPC supervisor to manage all AOG spares activities, ensuring that allavailable options for demand resolution are exhausted within the fastestmeans possible, whilst ensuring compliance.Implement and foster a culture ofcollaboration with the Integrated Technical Logistics Operations Cell(ITLOC) to meet the operational needs of the customer.
  
• You willbe expected to support the PPC supervisor in DSUMs and AOG calls with theUK, ensuring that all PPC spreadsheets are kept topically and accurate atall times.To support thesemeetings you will closely with the ITLOC team.
  
• Supportthe management of inventory through planning, stock positioning,monitoring item condition and ensuring product availability balancingservice against budget.
• Supportunder supervision the ability to minimise expenditure through theexploration of all alternative sources of supply. The ability to determinethe most appropriate asset solution (repair, overhaul or provide spare).The ability to provide repair scheduling tasking into repair bayfacilities.
• Ensure both internal and externalcustomers receive the level of service expected of business KPIs;specifically the QEAF Typhoon Fleet receives what they need on time and tothe highest quality.
  
• Mentoringthe QEAF staff as they join the MOB Organisation from the Qatar TechnicalInstitute.
  

Key Accountabilities

• Regulatory Framework understandingand the ability to manage this framework structure into the DF&Pprocesses and activities.
  
• Able to build strong relationshipswith Customers, Part 145 Organisation(s), Order Book Management, OEMs,Suppliers and other key stakeholders.
  
• Demonstrate a good understandingof the platform contract(s) terms of reference for those Direct andIndirect aspects related to the headline KPIs.
  
• Demonstrate operational andcommercial understanding of the fleet’s performance and business keyperformance metrics.
  
• Able to encourage/champion aContinuous Improvement culture, and develop/enhance the underpinningmanagement reporting systems.
  
• Provide support to the DF&Pteam(s) on forecasting & planning related issues.
  
• Conduct analysis andinterpretation of Supply Chain data to identify repetitive problems andinform appropriate stakeholders. Where appropriate support theimplementation of any corrective action.
  
• This person would be seenas competent in the field of operational supply chain activities, be able todefine the processes, propose improvements and manage those improvement intothe day to day running of the operation.
