Job summary

Al Mirqab is seeking an Operations Accountant (Accounts Receivables and Payables) in Qatar to manage and streamline all AR/AP workflows from Wajba Office. The role focuses on improving process efficiency, accuracy, and financial control while maintaining robust data governance and timely reporting.

You will handle invoice validation, posting, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close, working with the finance team across group offices to ensure compliance and timely financial

Responsibilities

• Support improvements for AP/AR processes to boost efficiency and governance.
• Standardise invoice processing, supplier management, and master data practices.
• Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations, and payment accuracy.
• Validate and post supplier, customer invoices, credit notes, and receipts.
• Process employee expense claims and corporate card transactions.
• Prepare payment batches and documentation for supplier settlements.
• Reconcile supplier statements and intercompany balances.
• Maintain vendor and customer master data for accurate records.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close with analyses.
• Collaborate with Head Office and Luxembourg office finance teams.
