Job summary

Confidential organization in Qatar seeks a Senior Accountant/Accounts Payable Manager to lead AP activities within the Finance team. You will process invoices, perform three-way matching, and manage payments aligned with terms.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 7 years in AP, strong ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics), advanced Excel, and fluency in Arabic and English. CPA/ACCA/CMA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting, at Senior Specialist or Senior Accountant level.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail with good communication in Arabic and English.
• Professional certification (CPA/ACCA/CMA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices in line with company policies.
• Perform three-way matching (PO, goods receipt, invoice) and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute payment runs per approved terms.
• Reconcile supplier statements and maintain vendor records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with procurement, operations and external vendors on payment queries.
• Support audits with required documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
