Job summary

Qureos in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to lead AR operations, invoicing, and collections. The role requires 5+ years in AR and hands-on SAP FI-AR proficiency, ensuring accurate billing and timely reconciliations.

The candidate will manage invoices, apply payments in SAP, monitor ageing, and support month-end closes. Knowledge of Qatar/GCC practices is advantageous for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Accounts Receivable.
• Hands-on SAP experience for AR.
• Invoicing, collections, reconciliations knowledge.
• Experience preparing AR ageing reports.
• Experience working in Qatar/GCC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily AR activities: invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices in line with terms.
• Record customer payments in SAP accurately.
• Monitor ageing and follow up on overdue payments.
• Prepare AR ageing reports for management review.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of customer accounts.
• Maintain customer records and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with operations and clients to resolve billing issues.
• Support month-end and year-end AR close with reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls.
• Assist auditors with AR documentation.
• Identify process improvements in invoicing and collections.
