Job summary

Qureos Inc in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to lead AR operations within the Finance team. You will manage invoicing, payments, and reconciliations using SAP, ensuring accurate records and timely collections.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of AR experience, strong SAP skills, and solid knowledge of reporting and controls to support month-end closes. GCC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Hands-on SAP experience for AR transactions is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of AR processes, invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Experience preparing AR ageing reports and supporting month-end closing.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor customer invoices per terms and procedures.
• Record and allocate customer payments within SAP accurately.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
• Prepare AR ageing reports and provide updates to management.
• Perform monthly customer account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain customer records, credit/debit notes, and supporting docs.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and clients to resolve disputes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including AR reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
• Assist auditors with AR documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve invoicing and collections.
