Job summary

Astrea Group Trading & Contracting W.L.L. in Doha is seeking a Female Technical Assistant / Project Coordinator with a background in Marketing and Engineering or Marketing and Procurement to support project coordination, documentation, supplier coordination, and administrative activities.

The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineering teams, clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure deliverables meet requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and support timely project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Procurement/Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Combination of Marketing and Engineering or Marketing and Procurement experience is encouraged.
• Experience as Technical Assistant, Project Coordinator, Document Controller, Marketing Assistant, or Procurement Assistant is an advantage.
• Experience in construction/engineering industry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, time management, multitasking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
• Prepare, review, and maintain project and technical documentation (contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, manuals, product data sheets).
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors on requirements, materials, and documentation.
• Monitor project progress, follow up on action items, and support timely deliverables.
• Coordinate with the marketing, engineering, and procurement teams to support project requirements and business operations.
• Assist in sourcing materials, requesting supplier quotations, preparing price comparisons, and coordinating procurement requirements when necessary.
• Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting minutes.
• Distribute, file, retrieve, and manage project documents using physical and electronic filing systems.
• Prepare project reports, status updates, quotations, and other administrative documents as required.
• Handle project correspondence and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Manager and project team.
