Job summary

Swan Global seeks a Project Engineer Mechanical - EPC Offshore in Doha, Qatar to support planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical engineering and construction activities for offshore EPC projects.

You will be the focal point between engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, and commissioning, ensuring mechanical systems are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of EPC project experience, with at least 4 years offshore.
• Strong technical knowledge of static and rotating equipment, piping, valves, and mechanical interfaces.
• Familiar with SmartPlant, AutoCAD, and Aconex.
• Experience with fabrication, installation, and commissioning for offshore facilities.
• Excellent coordination and communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical engineering activities across design offices, yards, vendors and offshore teams.
• Review engineering deliverables for equipment and piping systems.
• Monitor progress and report against project schedule.
• Ensure compliance with client specs (QatarEnergy, ADNOC, ARAMCO) and API/ASME/ISO.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, commissioning, and handover.
