Job summary

Swan Global is seeking an experienced Interface Manager Offshore EPC Project in Qatar to lead technical, contractual, and schedule interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication yards and offshore teams.

The role requires 12+ years in Oil & Gas with 5+ years offshore; 24–36 month contract; responsibility spans onshore and offshore interfaces, approvals, risk management, and handover to commissioning. Offshore rotation may apply.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 12 years total industry experience; at least 5 years offshore experience.
Proven track record managing interface scope of offshore platforms/topsides/jackets/subsea installation.
Familiarity with interface management tools and project planning software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Interface Management Plan (IMP) for the project and define interface boundaries.
Set up and lead the Interface Register/Interface Matrix tracking inter-discipline interfaces; review weekly.
Conduct interface review workshops and escalation meetings with contractors and client representatives.
Coordinate interface activities among engineering, procurement, fabrication yards, construction, and offshore teams.
Ensure deliverables preserve continuity across discipline boundaries and readiness for fabrication and commissioning.
Monitor interface risks, potential claims, schedule impacts, and cost implications; feed into risk registers.
