Job summary

Swan Global is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer in Doha to review tender scopes, develop bid plans and schedules, estimate resources, and prepare cost projections using Primavera-P6. The role centers on EPC/Oil & Gas proposals and requires strong planning discipline.

You will coordinate with project managers and engineers, monitor progress, manage risks, and deliver regular planning reports and updated schedules. Offshore-experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
• Total experience: 15–18 years in EPC/Oil & Gas with proposal focus.
• Offshore experience: 3–5 years in offshore projects (mandatory).
• Expert in Primavera-P6; MS Project/Excel/Word.
• Tender/bid proposals and planning experience; resource estimation and cost/budget prep.
• Risk assessment and maintenance of risk registers.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents and develop bid proposals, plans, and schedules.
• Estimate resources (manpower, man-hours, trade disciplines, equipment).
• Prepare histograms, S-curves, and cost projections for proposals.
• Analyze delays and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare planning reports and risk registers.
