Job summary

The University of Doha for Science and Technology invites applications for an Occupational Health Safety and Environment faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank in Doha, Qatar.

The successful candidate will develop and deliver courses, evaluate student progress, and collaborate with industry and other institutions while contributing to accreditation and program development in OHSE.

Qualifications

• PhD in Occupational Health Safety and Environment is required. If PhD is not in OHSE, a related master’s/bachelor’s degree is acceptable with relevant experience.
• Professional licensure and registration with a recognized OHSE registry/body (IOSH, CRSP, CSP, NEBOSH tutor experience preferred).
• Education degree (Secondary/Post-Secondary) and teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate courses in Occupational Health Safety and Environment.
• Assess student progress and manage learning resources and facilities.
• Liaise with industry and other institutions; participate in advisory committees and coordinate projects.
