Job summary
UNIVERSITY OF DOHA FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY invites applications for Nursing Faculty at Assistant/Associate Professor rank. The role covers development, delivery, and evaluation of nursing courses across programs with emphasis on mental health nursing and related areas.
The position requires a PhD in Nursing or related field, active nursing registration, and a minimum of five years of clinical practice. Teaching experience in higher education is preferred; leadership and research contributions
Qualifications
- PhD in Nursing or related health field; Master’s/Bachelor’s acceptable if PhD not in Nursing.
- Candidate must be a registered nurse in good standing and eligible for Qatar licensure.
- Minimum 5 years of full-time equivalent clinical nursing practice.
- Experience in teaching nursing in a post-secondary setting preferred.
- Experience in mental health nursing, addictions, or behavioral health is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate nursing courses across department programs.
- Teach theory, lab, simulation, and clinical education in various nursing areas.
- Liaise with industry and educational institutions; participate in advisory committees.
- Maintain course portfolios for accreditation; contribute to curriculum development.
