Job summary

University of Doha for Science and Technology in Doha invites applications for an Occupational Health Safety and Environment faculty position at Assistant/Associate Professor rank within the College of Health Sciences. The role focuses on developing, delivering, and evaluating courses while coordinating resources and projects to support accreditation.

Qualifications

PhD in Occupational Health Safety and Environment is required; if PhD is not in this field, a master’s or bachelor’s in occupational health and safety suffices.
Professional licensure and current registration with a recognized OHS registry/body (e.g., IOSH, CRSP, CSP) is preferred.
A certificate/diploma or degree in Education and teaching experience at post-secondary level is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, deliver and evaluate a broad range of courses in Occupational Health Safety and Environment within the College of Health Sciences.
Evaluate student progress and manage learning environment resources.
Liaise with industry and other educational institutions; participate in industry advisory committees; coordinate and manage projects within the program area.
