Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Network & Security Administrator/Engineer in Doha to manage enterprise routing and switching, NGFWs across Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet, and to implement load balancing and WAF solutions using Array Networks. The role involves security tooling, incident handling, and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Hands-on routing & switching in multi-vendor NGFW environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Experience with Load Balancing and WAF platforms (Array Networks preferred).
• Proficiency with enterprise security suites (SIEM, Sandboxing, Symantec/Fortinet Endpoint Protection).
• Familiarity with enterprise network monitoring tools (ITRS Opsview) and ticketing systems.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and service-management practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching across NGFWs (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Implement and optimize Load Balancing and Web Application Firewall (Array Networks).
• Administer security suites (Fortinet, Symantec) and endpoint protection.
• Monitor network performance and respond to alerts using enterprise tools (ITRS Opsview).
• Manage incidents, problems, and change tickets per ITIL processes.
• Document configurations, topology diagrams, SOPs, and change records.
