Job summary

HireAlpha is seeking an experienced Network Engineer in Qatar to lead data center networking with Cisco ACI, Nexus 9K, leaf-spine design, and APIC operations. The role requires hands-on expertise in BGP/OSPF, L3Out, and DC security, with automation using Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs.

The ideal candidate will have strong F5 LTM/APM, Palo Alto/Fortinet/Check Point firewalls, and proficiency in Linux CLI, monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. On-site in Doha with a 30-day notice period.

Qualifications

8+ years of network engineering experience in data center environments.
Hands-on Cisco ACI with APIC, tenants, VRFs, EPGs, L3Out design.
Experience with F5 LTM/APM and enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).
Automation using REST APIs, Terraform, Ansible; IaC pipelines.
L3 routing (BGP, OSPF) and DC security concepts.

Responsibilities

Design and operate Cisco ACI data center fabric (Nexus 9K) including leaf-spine topology.
Implement and optimize L3 routing, contracts, and service graphs with PBR.
Develop automation scripts and CI/CD integrated with Git workflows.
Manage load balancing, security controls, and firewall policies across DCs.
Monitor and troubleshoot using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
