Job summary

MACH Consultants in Qatar seeks a seasoned Security Network Engineer with 8+ years of enterprise network security experience. You will design and harden security architectures, manage FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and F5 BIG-IP platforms, and secure complex routing in a high-availability gateway environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams to conduct vulnerability assessments, incidents, and traffic optimization in a fast-paced consultancy setting in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in enterprise network security engineering and infrastructure defense.
• Strong experience with FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco networking and firewall platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network security architectures and gateways.
• Manage FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA firewalls and F5 BIG-IP appliances.
• Configure and operate F5 BIG-IP, HP TippingPoint IDS/IPS, and VPN tunneling techs.
• Secure routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP, MPLS, QoS) in high-availability gateways.
• Support VPN connectivity, Cisco AnyConnect, and incident response collaboration.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits; maintain network diagrams and runbooks.
