Job summary

Employment in Doha seeks an IT Network Specialist to design, deploy, and manage Cisco networking across data centers, including Nexus 7K, ACI, Catalyst 3850/9300, and Meraki. The role focuses on reliability and security.

You will implement IP telephony, administer F5 load balancers, manage firewalls (Cisco FTD/ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet), VPNs, and cloud networking in Azure and GCP, while collaborating with security and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience managing Cisco networking technologies and enterprise network environments.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, routing, switching, and security concepts.
• Knowledge of network protocols, application transport technologies, and connectivity solutions.
• Experience using network monitoring, diagnostic, and analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently as well as within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Cisco networking infrastructure including Nexus 7000 switches, Cisco ACI, Cisco Catalyst 3850/9300 access switches, and Wireless Controllers.
• Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco IP Telephony solutions to ensure reliable voice communications.
• Configure and administer F5 Load Balancers for traffic optimization, high availability, and redundancy.
• Manage and support enterprise firewall platforms including Cisco FTD, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
• Configure and maintain secure remote connectivity solutions such as Cisco Any Connect VPN and Site-to-Site VPNs.
• Administer Meraki switches and security appliances within the enterprise network environment.
• Utilize Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control, policy enforcement, and secure authentication.
• Manage Azure networking services including Virtual Networks (VNet), Network Virtual Appliances (NVA), subscriptions, and regional deployments.
• Support Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking services including VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, and Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance to ensure maximum uptime, security, and reliability.
