Job summary

QNB Group in Doha is seeking a Remittance Officer to handle outward and inward remittance processing, salary transfers and related activities for its retail, corporate and government clients. You will ensure compliance with AML rules, SLAs, and record-keeping while supporting cross‑functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant banking experience, plus strong English and Arabic communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field and relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant banking operations experience.
• Fluency in English and Arabic in oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Process outward and inward remittance requests and salary transfers for retail, corporate and government clients.
• Balance and monitor related accounts to ensure timely clearance and avoid losses.
• Adhere to AML rules, regulatory requirements and internal policies; provide data to auditors and compliance teams.
• Maintain records and ensure timely completion of all remittance tasks within SLAs.
