Job summary

Brunel invites a Maintenance Support Mechanical Engineer to join its Doha team, focusing on evaluating spare parts and maintaining accurate maintenance records for mechanical equipment. You will support reliability programs, update technical documentation, and assist with bid evaluations and supplier interfaces for global client projects.

Key tasks include reviewing RSPL and recommending additional parts, assessing obsolescence risks for pumps, compressors, turbines and valves, and ensuring SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong SAP knowledge and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with pumps, compressors, gas turbines, blowers, exchangers, valves and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate spare parts lists and recommend replacements for mechanical equipment.
• Review RSPL and suggest additional parts for new tasks.
• Test stock beyond service life and decide replenishment or disposal.
• Conduct Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) for spares supplied by buyers/supply dept.
• Review interface agreements between new jobs and existing operations from a maintenance view.
• Perform design expediency studies (eMOC) and address obsolescence risks.
• Evaluate MDG (Master Data Governance) data in SAP for materials.
