Brunel in Qatar seeks a Subsea QA/QC Specialist (Project) to act as the project quality focal point, interfacing with stakeholders and contractors to ensure QA/QC for project execution and handover. The role focuses on subsea pipeline repairs, NDE/verification and compliance with the Project Quality Plan.

Responsibilities include reviewing FEED, plans, and supplier documentation, leading NCR and QA verification programs, and ensuring readiness for mechanical acceptance in a 16-month assignment

Formación

• Bachelor of Engineering from a recognized university.
• Current and valid BOSIET certificate.
• Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (IRCA or equivalent) with extensive experience leading QMS audits and QA verification programs for each project phase.

Responsabilidades

• Interface with project stakeholders and contractors to ensure QA/QC compliance for effective project execution and handover.
• Prepare quality plans and work schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Review FEED deliverables and reports to support quality plans and procedures.
• Review project scope to determine frequency of quality verification activities.
• Support during tender phase to review repair methodology, inspection techniques, and vendor documentation.
• Monitor inspection and testing status of pipeline repair activities.
• Establish interface with engineering consultants, contractors, and regulatory focal points.
• Review and accept contractor's and vendor's quality reports/deliverables.
• Verify repair activities comply with approved methodologies.
• Support underwater inspection and anomaly assessment of offshore structures.
• Lead QA verification programs to ensure project compliance.
• Lead NCR management and disposition for non-conformances.
• Identify lessons learned and corrective actions to improve processes.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental requirements.
