QAPCO in Qatar is hiring a Mechanical Planner for rotary equipment to manage preventive and predictive maintenance, plan work orders, and coordinate schedules with engineers and contractors. The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and extensive field experience.

Senior candidates will maintain equipment histories in SAP/CMMS, ensure HSE compliance, and support turnaround activities while delivering timely, quality maintenance results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of field experience in mechanical rotating equipment maintenance and planning.
• At least 3 years of maintenance planning experience in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas.
• Knowledge of international mechanical codes and standards.
• Strong preventive and predictive maintenance understanding.
• Experience with SAP and CMMS applications.
• Strong planning, scheduling, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good English communication skills.

• Prepare work orders, planning cards, and spare parts specifications.
• Coordinate weekly maintenance schedules, shutdowns and turnaround activities.
• Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with approved schedules.
• Maintain equipment history and update maintenance data in SAP/CMMS.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
