Position Overview

Manager HR Projects at Qatar Airways in Doha, Qatar is a senior leadership role responsible for planning, managing, and delivering large-scale human resources projects that support organizational transformation and workforce excellence. This role partners with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure HR initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives across the airline group.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, recommend, and execute detailed project roadmaps for HR initiatives aligned with strategic goals
• Plan, manage, and deliver HR projects in accordance with approved standards, schedules, and budgets
• Lead HR projects across all phases, from evaluation and concept design to testing and operational implementation
• Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
• Coordinate with HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, and other business divisions to deliver integrated project outcomes
• Monitor project execution, organize review meetings, resolve blockers, and maintain momentum
• Create, track, and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare reports for senior stakeholders
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies based on experience
• Establish and govern HR project management frameworks, including policies, tools, processes, and forums
• Drive feasibility studies, business plans, and cost planning for new and ongoing HR initiatives
• Lead change management activities to support adoption and sustainability of HR projects
• Manage and develop team members, ensuring effective collaboration and performance

Ideal Profile

• High School, Vocational, or Diploma qualification with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience
• Strong change management expertise
• Solid understanding of HR processes and HR systems
• Proven project management experience across complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
• Experience working with senior leaders and diverse teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Clarizen
• PMP certification is preferred
