Job summary

QatarEnergy in Mesaieed seeks a senior planner to manage maintenance plans, schedules, and reports across NGL plants, storage, and distribution sites. You will ensure SAP data integrity and coordination with maintenance teams to optimize shutdowns and daily work.

The ideal candidate has extensive maintenance experience in oil & gas, strong planning skills, and proven ability to work independently while adhering to corporate procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in oil & gas.
• At least 5 years in the maintenance field and 1 year experience with SAP.
• Experience with planning and scheduling using CMMS/SAP.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and manage maintenance plans, schedules, and reports for Mesaieed operations.
• Input and maintain all maintenance data in SAP to enable effective planning and scheduling of jobs.
• Prepare planning schedules and documentation for short-term and unplanned shutdowns in Mesaieed operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards.

Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job

Responsible for producing all maintenance plans, schedules, reports, historical records and programs for all Preventive, Corrective, Inspection and General maintenance activities in Mesaieed Operations (i.e. NGL Plants, Storage and Loading areas, Tank farm & terminal areas and Gas Distribution Stations) including management of all maintenance data input to SAP ensuring effective Planning and Scheduling of Maintenance Jobs utilizing SAP system.

Prepare and produce planning schedules, reports and documentation for all short term and unplanned shutdowns in Mesaieed Operations.

Required Experience and Skills

At least 10 years' maintenance experience within a similar oil & gas environment with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the maintenance field and the remaining with any computerized Maintenance Management System and one year's experience in SAP.

Operates independently in processing, interpreting and disseminating information to maintenance operations and planning personnel within the framework of overall maintenance procedures and maintenance plans. Referring to matters relating to changes in the system. Otherwise, routine activities are subject to periodic review and discussion. Work is subject to a general review of progress and achievements.

Educational Qualifications

B.S. Degree in any Engineering discipline or equivalent.
