Job summary

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Inc in Doha, Qatar, invites applications for the Director of Sales, Catering & Events role to drive catering and social event revenue while aligning with the hotel's Sales & Marketing strategy.

You will lead strategic sales for high-value weddings, social celebrations, corporate meetings, incentive groups, and signature events, partnering with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue, ensure flawless execution, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive catering and social events sales experience in upscale hotels.
• Proven track record in high-value weddings, social events, corporate meetings, and incentive programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Delphi.fdc, Cendyn, Opera Sales & Catering, or comparable systems.
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality sales, event operations, and revenue optimization.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed catering revenue targets through strategic sales.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive catering sales plan to increase market share.
• Lead negotiations for contracts, menus, pricing, and event details.
• Oversee BEO preparation and weekly review meetings.
• Lead and develop Catering Sales Managers and Coordinators.
