Job summary

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North in Lusail, Qatar, invites applications for a Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public spaces, from lobbies to guest areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring safety procedures are followed, with a focus on guest comfort and teamwork in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including linens and cleaning equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all assigned public areas including restrooms, lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and back-of-house spaces.
• Vacuum carpets, dust surfaces, polish furniture, and clean windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
• Replenish supplies in public restrooms and ensure they are consistently clean and stocked.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Empty trash and recycling bins in public and service areas.
• Ensure cleanliness and presentation of entrances, guest areas, and exterior walkways.
• Follow safety, security, and health procedures at all times.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and promptly or refer them to the appropriate department.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to procedures.
