Job summary

QatarYello is seeking a qualified lawyer with 2–5 years PQE to join its expanding international entertainment team in Doha. The role involves drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, advising on IP and branding matters, and supporting governance initiatives.

The successful candidate will work independently, manage multiple priorities and liaise with external counsel as needed, contributing to the company’s global growth and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer from a Common Law jurisdiction.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience across commercial, corporate or TMT matters.
• Strong attention to detail with sound legal judgement.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Support sponsorship, partnership and supplier agreement negotiations.
• Provide practical day-to-day legal advice to business stakeholders.
• Advise on intellectual property, branding and content-related matters.
• Assist with dispute management and pre-litigation issues.
• Liaise with and manage external legal counsel where required.
• Support the development of legal templates, policies and processes.
• Contribute to wider legal, governance and commercial initiatives across the business.

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts.
