• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and related legal documents.
• Advise internal teams on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
• Support development and amendment of regulations, rules, policies and procedures.
• Advise on corporate structures, including LLCs, branches, trusts, foundations and SPVs.
• Support regulatory investigations and dispute resolution matters.
• Engage with government entities, external counsel and key stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on AML/CFT, sanctions and anti-bribery requirements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, reports and strategic papers.
• Manage external legal counsel and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Provide legal training and guidance to internal stakeholders.

A prominent organisation operating within Qatar’s financial services ecosystem is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel – Commercial to join its Legal Department.

The successful candidate will provide proactive, commercially focused legal advice across corporate, commercial, regulatory, policy and legislative matters. The role will also support strategic legal projects, stakeholder engagement and dispute resolution.
