Job summary

Qureos in Qatar is seeking a skilled LOTO Supervisor to lead lockout and energy isolation activities on major industrial projects. You will enforce energy-control procedures, coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, HSE, and Operations teams, and ensure all locks and tags are properly applied and documented.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in LOTO supervision, strong knowledge of PTW systems, and familiarity with Qatar safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant LOTO experience.
• Minimum 5 years as a LOTO Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of energy isolation, LOTO procedures, and PTW systems.
• Experience in industrial, oil & gas, power, water treatment or desalination projects preferred.
• Qatar Energy LNG experience an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all LOTO activities at the project site.
• Ensure proper isolation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other hazardous energy sources.
• Review and implement LOTO procedures, isolation plans, and energy control requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe isolation.
• Verify isolation points are identified, locked, tagged, and documented before work begins.
• Comply with PTW requirements and Qatar safety regulations.
• Conduct LOTO briefings and toolbox talks.
• Maintain LOTO registers and related documentation.
• Verify zero-energy conditions before work starts.
• Coordinate LOTO activities during testing, commissioning, energization and de-energization.
• Identify hazards of stored energy and implement controls.
• Stop unsafe work and report violations.
• Provide guidance and training on LOTO requirements.
