Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG seeks a Security professional to coordinate security and guard services at industrial sites and lead a team during emergencies. You will report on operational security risks and ensure guard posts meet required standards, contributing to a safer working environment.

The role requires a 2-year TPP or equivalent, security certifications, and several years of security or military/government experience in an industrial setting, operating within Ras Laffan/Al Khor regions.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school education (12 years) followed by a 2 year technical preparation programme (TPP) course or development programme.
• Security certifications and membership of a professional security body.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination of security and guard services at a site and coordinate a team’s emergency response.
• Assist in reporting operational security risks to management and staff.
• Ensure ongoing inspection of contracted guards and posts to meet required standards.
• Participate in security risk assessments.
• Complete security incident reports for management review.
• Assist in coordinating resolution of major/minor security issues.
• Act as Security In Charge for incidents until relieved.
• Perform basic security investigations.
• Inspect security posts to ensure adherence to security health and environment requirements.
