Job summary

Swan Global seeks an experienced HSE professional to supervise field loss prevention and emergency readiness across turnaround areas. You will lead loss control activities, ensure resources for emergencies are in place, and report to the Safety Specialist / Contractor PM & ORYX Area Supervisor.

Work is Ras Laffan, Qatar, on a demanding 12-hour shift (Schedule3) six days a week, day or night. The role requires NEBOSH certification, NFPA HazMat/Firefighting qualifications, Incident Command, and 5+

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certification is required.
• NFPA 472 HazMat Operations certification is required.
• NFPA Firefighting course (or equivalent) is required.
• Incident Command qualification is required.
• 5+ years of operational experience in emergency services, preferably petrochemical/O&G.
• Demonstrable experience as emergency response leader in industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead loss control activities and emergency readiness; ensure resources for emergency response are in place.
• Verify compliance to HAZMAT/LOTO/Confined Space/Hot Work standards; expedite deviations.
• Support incident investigations and conduct safety coaching in the field.

Job description

• Verify compliance to HAZMAT/LOTO/Confined Space/Hot Work standards; expedite deviations.
• Support incident investigations and conduct safety coaching in the field.

Minimum Qualifications/Certifications:

• NEBOSH certification.
• NFPA 472 (HazMat Operations), NFPA Firefighting course (or equivalent).
• Incident Command qualification.
• 5+ years operational experience in emergency services (preferably petrochemical/Oil & Gas).
• Demonstrable experience as emergency response leader in industrial facilities.

JobSpecific Skills (must/strongly preferred):

• Advanced petrochemical & Oil/Gas firefighting; HAZMAT operations; Radiation Protection Officer training (preferred).
