Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha is seeking a skilled Machinist for a full-time role in our workshop. You will operate conventional lathe machines to perform turning, facing, boring, drilling and taper machining, ensuring parts meet required tolerances.

Applicants must hold ITI or a Diploma in Machining and have hands-on experience with valve seat taper, thread cutting and precision machining. Strong drawing interpretation and adherence to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• ITI, Diploma or relevant trade qualification in Machining, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience operating and setting up conventional lathe machines.
• Proven ability to perform valve seat taper machining accurately.
• Experience in thread cutting, turning, boring and other precision machining activities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and verify machining tolerances using micrometers, vernier calipers and gauges.
• Good understanding of cutting tools, machining parameters, workshop safety and routine machine maintenance.

Responsibilities
