Job summary

GTC Gulf Team Trading and Contracting in Qatar is seeking a Master Lathe Machine Operator for workshop and site work. You will measure, cut and machine to precise dimensions using lathe machines and oversee pump-related components with accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years total experience, Gulf experience preferred, and are skilled in TIG and electrode welding. Flexibility to work varying hours and locations is required.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years total experience, Gulf experience preferred.
• Must know TIG and Electrode Welding.
• Proficient in lathe operation and precision machining.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut and machine materials to precise dimensions using Lathe Machines and ensure machines run correctly.
• Perform machining tasks on pump housings, pump shaft, bearing housing components.
• Fabricate and weld structures; work with SS, Cast Iron and Mild Steel in workshop and site.
• Operate power tools (drilling, cutting, grinding) and use measuring tools (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge).
• Maintain flexibility to work under varying conditions and schedules.
