Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Group Business Development Director - LATAM to identify, originate, and secure major infrastructure investments across Latin and South America. The role leads deal sourcing, relationship building with governments, asset owners, operators and co-investors, and guides commercial negotiation and diligence with the deal team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in infrastructure investment, project development or related sectors.
• Senior business development, deal origination or investment experience in infrastructure, PE or project finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal origination across regions to build a robust pipeline of infrastructure opportunities.
• Develop and execute regional business development strategy with governments, asset owners and developers.
• Establish and nurture relationships with government officials, regulators, asset owners and co-investors.
• Identify and qualify investment opportunities through market research and stakeholder engagement.
• Design and implement stage-gate processes for bankable project development and cost estimation.
