Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline (MBA advantageous).
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years with progressively increasing managerial responsibility.
• Proven track record of developing large-scale power projects from start to finish, with exposure to conventional power plants.
• Renewable-only backgrounds are not sufficient; solar and wind experience is advantageous with substantial conventional power experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of large-scale power generation projects across opportunity identification, feasibility and investment assessment through commercial structuring, negotiation and development.
• Identify and evaluate new power-sector investment opportunities across international markets with commercial, financial, technical and market assessments.
• Lead commercial risk evaluation and contractual negotiations with developers, contractors, partners, advisors and other stakeholders on key project documentation.
• Assess technical and project-development risks including construction, EPC, operations and delivery considerations; coordinate with technical, finance, M&A and other teams.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with developers, contractors, investors, partners, consultants and government-related stakeholders to support execution and growth.
