Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) MEA in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Data Network L2 Engineer / MPLS / SD-WAN Specialist to diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize complex MPLS and SD-WAN networks. You will coordinate with vendors and carriers, resolve P1/P2 incidents, and implement changes with risk assessments.

The role requires 3–7 years in networking, CCNA/CCNP, and SD-WAN familiarity. The position is a full-time, on-site role in Doha, with 24x7 operational readiness as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of networking/IT experience.
• B.Tech or Diploma in Telecom/Networking/IT.
• CCNA or CCNP certification preferred.
• SD-WAN certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot MPLS L2/L3 VPN and SD-WAN issues using CLI and logs.
• Handle incident resolution and service restoration within MTTR targets.
• Analyze routing protocols: BGP, OSPF; manage VPNs and VRFs.
• Operate SD-WAN platforms (Viptela/others) and validate edge status.
• Conduct RCA for major incidents and implement CAPA.
• Support network changes, upgrades, and rollback planning.
• Coordinate with OEMs and ISPs for escalations and TAC cases.
• Identify opportunities to improve routing stability and performance.
• L1 governance and help improve SOPs and knowledge base.
