Job summary

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts in Doha is seeking a dedicated Steward to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in the kitchen, dishwashing area, and food service facilities. You will ensure that all equipment, utensils, and work areas are cleaned and stored according to our standards.

This role involves operating dishwashing machines, following food safety regulations, reporting maintenance issues, and supporting deep-cleaning activities as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper cleaning procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas, floors, walls, and workstations.
• Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
• Ensure proper storage of clean kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and sanitation requirements.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, and safety hazards.
• Support deep-cleaning activities as scheduled.
• Follow instructions from the Supervisor, Manager.
