Job summary

Rotana Hotels is seeking a reliable Kitchen Steward to keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for daily operations at Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana Doha. You will support the kitchen team by maintaining hygiene standards and assisting with basic kitchen duties.

Based at Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana Doha, the role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen, cleaning or stewarding role is advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and waste bins.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Store clean equipment and supplies in their designated locations.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and replenishing kitchen supplies.
• Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain recycling procedures where applicable.
• Report damaged equipment, low supplies, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
• Support kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed.
