Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a Kids Club Attendant for Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara. You will provide loving, attentive care to children, supervise play areas, and deliver engaging learning activities under the supervision of the Entertainment & Recreation Manager.

Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, monitoring safety, completing sign-in/out records, and promptly addressing emergencies while fostering a warm, supportive environment for families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kids Club Attendant.
• Excellent listener with a fun, engaging personality.
• Caring, compassionate and patient with children.
• English proficiency; another language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the play area safe and free from hazards while monitoring children consistently throughout the day.
• Create daily lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate, fun and engaging.
• Lead children in activities such as reading, art, music and singing.
• Complete administrative duties including signing children in and out and recording their details.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to difficult or emergency situations.

Keep the play area safe and free from hazards while monitoring children consistently throughout the day. Clean play equipment, games, and toys on a regular basis to keep them safe and attractive. Keep individual records for each child that include information about his or her behaviors, daily activities, meals eaten, medications received, and other important and mundane details. Discuss this information with each child’s parents on a daily basis. Create daily lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate, fun, and interesting. Lesson plans should always encourage full participation by each child. Participate in learning activities with the children, including reading, art and crafts, music, and singing. Complete administrative duties, including signing children in and out and recording their details and any special needs. comply with and uphold all health, safety, and security regulations and procedures. Respond promptly and appropriately to difficult or emergency situations.
