Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Doha is seeking a Commis III to join our kitchen team. You will handle daily mis-en-place, support senior chefs, and uphold the highest standards of food hygiene and portion control in a luxury hotel setting.

You will follow directions from supervisors, help manage stock and costs in your section, and contribute to a collaborative environment that values quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Daily mis-en-place responsibilities in a luxury hotel kitchen.
• Maintain hygienic conditions in the work area according to hotel rules.
• Control food stock and food cost in the section.
• Prepare daily mis-en-place and production for main kitchen or satellites.
• Follow instructions from superiors to complete daily tasks.
• Ensure highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.
• Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily operation.
• Work according to instructions of superiors.
• Maintain hygienic work area at all times per hotel rules.
• Control stock and costs in the section.
• Prepare daily mis-en-place and production across kitchen areas.
• Follow supervisor guidance to complete tasks.
• Ensure top-quality and consistency in preparations.
• Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness and waste control.
