Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Doha is seeking a Commis III to join our kitchen team. You will handle daily mis-en-place, support senior chefs, and uphold the highest standards of food hygiene and portion control in a luxury hotel setting.

You will follow directions from supervisors, help manage stock and costs in your section, and contribute to a collaborative environment that values quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Daily mis-en-place responsibilities in a luxury hotel kitchen.
• Maintain hygienic conditions in the work area according to hotel rules.
• Control food stock and food cost in the section.
• Prepare daily mis-en-place and production for main kitchen or satellites.
• Follow instructions from superiors to complete daily tasks.
• Ensure highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.
• Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage and cost control.

Your day-to-day

• Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in the daily operation and work
• Work according to the instructions of Superiors
• Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the hotel
• Control food stock and food cost in his section
• Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites
• Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation
• Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control
