Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury Doha property seeks a Commis III to support daily mise-en-place and production in the main kitchen and satellite stations. You will work under the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I, following instructions to maintain high standards and ensure consistent quality in all dishes.

Qualifications

• Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily operation.
• Keep work area hygienic according to hotel rules.
• Control food stock and food cost in own section.
• Prepare the daily mise-en-place and production in main kitchen or satellites.
• Follow instructions from immediate Superiors to complete tasks.
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.
• Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage and cost control.

Your day-to-day

• Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in the daily operation and work
• Work according to the instructions of Superiors
• Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the hotel
• Control food stock and food cost in his section
• Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites
• Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation
• Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control
