Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar seeks a capable IT Officer to provide day-to-day IT support for users and ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, and networks. You will handle onboarding and offboarding, maintain system configurations, and coordinate with vendors.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT or CS, 4–5 years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4–5 years of IT support or system administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational and technical problems in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, drivers, and peripherals.
• Perform regular system checks, updates, and basic maintenance activities.
• Support user onboarding and offboarding, including system access, email setup, and device configuration.
• Maintain documentation for IT processes, configurations, and support activities.
• Coordinate with vendors or service providers when required for IT-related services.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
