Job summary

Baker Tilly Qatar is seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist in Doha to provide reliable technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues, and support access, IT assets, onboarding and information security.

You will deliver first- and second-level support, configure devices, assist with Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID administration, and coordinate with external vendors when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT-related field.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, ITIL are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
• 2–4 years IT technical support experience.
• Experience supporting multiple users in a corporate environment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across hardware, software, network, and MS 365.
• Experience working with external IT vendors is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Respond to IT incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support as required.
• Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
• Install and configure operating systems, applications, security software, and business applications.
• Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications.
• Troubleshoot basic network, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet, and connectivity issues.
• Support user account creation, modification, deactivation, password resets, and access permissions.
• Assist with Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID administration.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including IT equipment, system access, and account setup/recovery.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and equipment records.
• Support IT security controls, system updates, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues when required.
• Maintain records of IT incidents, service requests, equipment, and technical activities.
• Support IT projects, system implementations, upgrades, and technology improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT support processes and the overall employee technology experience.
